Eine Hetzjagd durch San Francisco ist schon was feines. Ich kann verschiedene Fahrzeuge nutzen. Dank eines neuen Features ist es mir möglich, fast alle Wagen innerhalb kürzester Zeit zu nutzen. Ich schnappe mir einfach eine neue Karre und schon kann die Jagd weitergehen. Dabei höre ich den chilligen Sound von über 60 verschiedenen Musikstücken. Wenn ich zum Ende hin noch Jericho besiegt habe, ist das Ganze doch sehr gut verlaufen.

Die Driver-Serie hatte so einige Höhen und Tiefen. Als Fans des Erstlings aus dem Jahre 2000 nehmen wir hier im spiel Test den aktuellen Ableger mit dem Titel Driver San Francisco unter die Lupe.
Driver – San Francisco knüpft an die Geschichte des legendären und ersten Teils an. Schwerverbrecher Jericho wurde von John Tanner hinter Schloss und Riegel gebracht. Auf dem Weg zu seiner Gerichtsverhandlung gelingt ihm jedoch, mit Hilfe einer mysteriösen Dame im Hubschrauber, die Flucht. Bei der Jagd auf San Franciscos Verbrecher Nr. 1 erleidet Tanner einen folgenschweren Unfall und liegt von nun an im Koma. Ab hier übernimmt der Spieler die Geschicke von Tanner und Ihr macht Euch auf die Jagd nach Jericho.
